MASSAGE AND OTHER TREATMENTS
Premises where massage, physiotherapy, chiropody, acupuncture, tattooing, cosmetic ear piercing, sunbed or laser, manicure, sauna, jacuzzi, electrolysis, osteopathy, pedicure, ultra sonic, and vapour ozone treatments are practiced are regularly inspected to ensure hygienic practices and the safety of users. MEETING ROOMS
A variety of meeting rooms available for hire at community and commercial rates are conveniently situated across the borough. Facilities include bars, kitchens and presentation equipment. Rooms have a variety of capacities. They are in Acton Town Hall, Ealing Town Hall, Greenford Hall and the Memorial Hall, Northolt. The Council provides hostels, day centres, user support centres, group homes and supports voluntary agencies which provide day activities, advocacy advice and information. Mental Health Social Services work closely with the community psychiatric nurses and are based in the 5 Mental Health Resource Centres in Northolt, Southall, Hanwell, Ealing and Acton. People with mental health problems who need help or treatment for their health should contact their GPs in the first instance. The GP will provide treatment or may refer people to the specialist services in the Mental Health Resource Centres. People wishing to seek advice or information can contact their local Mental Health Resource Centre duty service.

Regeneration and Housing has a section called Mental Health Housing Team. This team provides advice to clients, social services and health professionals who have contact with Regeneration and Housing Department. They also provide resettlement and support to some clients that are housed via Regeneration and Housing. Access to supported housing in the borough is also controlled by this team. MUSEUMS
Pitshanger Manor Museum is a building of outstanding historic and architectural importance remodelled by Sir John Soane 1800-04. A video on his life in the house is shown on request. An important collection of Martinware Pottery is on display. Art exhibitions, talks, jazz and children's events take place on a regular basis. Rooms are for hire. Partial disabled access.
Ealing and Hounslow councils are jointly responsible for Gunnersbury Park Museum, Popes Lane. Major exhibitions relating to West London are mounted regularly. Open daily in the afternoons. Victorian kitchens open weekends only.
