Bhangra Artists

If the name B21 gets you curious, you are no different from anyone else. The group derived its name from the postal code of Birmingham, UK where the B21 was born and first performed. With its growing local popularity, B21 ruled the Bollywood bhangra charts for the longest time. B21 comprised of Bhotta Jagpal, Bally Jagpal and Jassi Sidhu. Eventually over time, it was renamed as 'revolutionizing UK.' Soon it was apparent that Bally Sagoo and Apache Indian were not alone. Birmingham had given birth to another label.

The boys shot to success with their debut album -The Sounds Of B21 in 1996. In the most recent album, 'Made in England' the trio has changed the face of Bhangra music in UK. B21's site regards Bhota "at helm" of B21. After having worked with Safri Boyz, they have welcomed success with open arms. Bally's songs like 'Aje Soneye' and 'Put Sardarah deh' have recieved wide acclaim from the masses.

Ever since '96, B21 has ruled the UK billboards like no other band. They have received numerous awards (namely Media Awards, Asian Pop charts) gratifying their accomplishment and their work with a variety of artists such as Busta Rhymes and Horace Brown.
